Astonishingly delicious Jamaican food. Got a vegetarian combo (rice + peas and cabbage) for my kids, a curry chicken combo for the wife, and a jerk pork plate for myself. I got a "small" for each of them--the chicken and pork fed my wife and I for two meals, and the veggie combo fed my daughter AND my little son for three meals. The jerk pork was amazing -- flavorful, spicy, and meaty. Just a warning: the pork has a lot of fatty pieces and bone, but it also has melt in your mouth meat chunks. This is usual for jerk meats and part of the experience. The staff were friendly and had masks on. Prices were great, especially considering the gigantic portion sized. Will be back again.
It's so hard finding Jamaican Food that's CONSISTENTLY good. I came here once and never stopped. The food taste great and I would always travel 15 minutes just to get oxtails, jerk chicken etc.

I loveeeeeee this Jamaican spot. It's the ONLY authentic Jamaican food you can get in Delaware. The location is a bit tricky to find and not really in an ideal spot bc of how much crackys are hanging around looking for their next hit but nevertheless, the food is AMAZING and it is definitely worth running to the car after to avoid contact with the people outside. The Jerk is always delicious and cooked perfectly, just like they make it back home. I've never had their curry, bc my mom is Guyanese so I grew up eating Guyanese curry not Jamaican curry, yes, Guyanese curry is superior Anyways, I love that we have this gem in New Castle and if you're thinking of eating here then DO IT. Don't go to any of the other fake Jamaican spots around here (there are a few). SPICE N NICE 2 da world. bless
Food is always good and fresh. We've eaten everything and go there often. My husband and I go with our girls Almost every wk. especially since I've just had a baby and have another little one. My Mom is sick so it helps. The staff is nice and pleasant. We've had the stew chicken, the escovitch fish, oxtail, pepper steak.. etc. it's the only place we go to for Jamaican food in Delaware! Route 9 location is our spot!
